Charlie and his band are back at the New Roscoe on sunday 7th june .

Charlie in one of the UKs finest blues guitarists and a fine singer/songwriter. He has enjoyed a long solo career during which he has released 3 acclaimed rock/blues albums. Ill health has slowed him down over the past few years. But, he is now back and out gigging again with his band, playing material from his own albums plus a few enigmatic cover versions of influential artists like Free and Hendrix.

The band is the classic Charlie Speed Band line-up. Featuring Roy Whyke on drums and Jon Short on bass, Jon Burr on harps and Johnnie Hardcastle on guitars and lapsSteel. This is a formidable line up of musicians that perfectly compliment Charlie's guitar and vocals.

Leeds music fans will be delighted to know that Charlie Speed is back!
